Career Counselling: Career
Foundations
We believe you will excel as a person when you do something
you love for a living. After all, you spend most of your
waking day at work.
The problem many people face is discovering what that
"something" is. Some even find that the
career they once loved has now become a chore.
A truly satisfying career isn't a job that just brings
in the money. Nor is it about doing what you're capable
of. It is about doing your life's work.
A fulfilling career isn't built overnight. It can take
hard work, tenacity, a certain panache, clear vision,
purposeful planning and a willingness to go after what you
want.
But it can also come naturally and easily when you love what
you do.
If you are willing to pursue a career that you are
passionate about and reap the rewards that come with it, Clever
Fox can assist.
Career Foundations is a career
counselling program suitable for individuals who are
open to retraining. This program gets you started on your
journey to discovering a fulfilling career.
What Does Career Foundations
Provide?
- Personal guidance through a structured
process designed to help you identify suitable
careers
- 3 sessions (each lasting between 60 and
90 minutes), face-to-face or over the
telephone with Kathleen Alexander
- Discover what motivates you at a deeper level so you
can choose careers that match your inner drivers
- Get clear about criteria that are important to you in a
career
- Define career options that fit in with your life
goals
- Develop an action plan to start you in
a career change
- Access to Harrison Assessments, a top end career
assessment used internationally that measures over 200 of
your personal traits and preference, well over the industry
standard.
- A Career Report that lists potential careers that
match your profile, each with a suitability
score.
- A customised personal profile relating to your career
development. It includes your task preference,
interests, preferred work environment, interpersonal
skills, motivation, leadership skills and decision making
skills.
- A report which compares specific traits that will help
or deter you from success in a careeryou choose from the
assessment results.
- Summary of each session emailed to you so you don't
have to take notes. This means you can focus entirely
on the coaching session itself.
Testimonial:
"I attended the career coaching program with an open
mind knowing I was going to get something useful out of the
experience. I had no idea what career direction to take
and my head was full of a million ideas. As Kathleen and I
worked together, I began to form a clear understanding of
what was important to me in a working environment, a clear
direction which careers would cater to most if not all of my
needs and wants, and what I was willing to do to achieve my
goals.
The experience allowed me to think outside
the square to exceed my own
expectations. I have since chosen a career path and
am motivated to do whatever it takes to achieve
my goals" S. Wilson
What this program
isn't...
- We don't look at your past roles to tell you what
you should pursue in the future. That
would be like trying to drive forward by looking at
your rear view mirror. This program is designed
to facilitate you in discovering new options that fit your
life goals, motivations, values, principles and
personality.
- We don't find jobs for you. Employment
consultants and recruiters are best suited to that
role. We specialise in helping your
discover answers to nagging questions such as
"What careers can I be passionate about? What would
suit my personality?"
Cost:
$690 for 3 private coaching sessions, assessments,
reports and summary of each session. Save $60. (The
Harrison Assessment component, priced at $180 if purchased
separately, is included at a discounted rate).
